BETWEEN LOVE AND MONEY

Love is critical in every marital Relationship. Money is equally  a necessity in a relationship. However, relationships may exist with or without money but definitely not without love except such a relationship is hypocritical. Be that as it may, it is noteworthy that money adds taste to relationship and can make it colourful. But, then, it is not a sinequanon for love and relationship. In her article: Do Animals Experience Love, Charlotte Corney states: “behaviourally, we see animals displaying extraordinary evidence of grief, care and empathy towards each other and their human companions – this clearly isn’t just ‘cupboard love’! If they could talk, I believe they absolutely would say they can and do love.” So, love can exist independent of money. A little wonder, the rich loves and the poor loves. Anyone can care, show empathy, express concern, romantic feelings or other aspects of love with or without the  involvement of money. Although, the presence or availability of money is in all cases of relationship necessary. Love with money is commonly desirable and could be considered ideal but it has been found that true love can only be tested when the luxury of money is not guaranteed if not when it is unavailable. And the wise one said: Better a small serving of vegetables with love than a fattened calf with hatred. This implies that love with little money may be more satisfying than a situation where there is surplus with little or absence of love.
